Peace, and its real meaning.

When i hear the word "peace" i think of everything wrong that is going on in the world. The word reminds me that there is no peace around us. Hippies and flowers don't come to my head because that is not what peace is really about. There are many reasons why the peace that everyone wants cant be found.  I believe it is because there are so many people forming groups and organizations to try to create world peace, which in my opinion is in someway affecting the world in a negative way because there will always be people who are against those organizations, therefore creating more chaos.  Its all just a big mess. Maybe the best way to achieve world peace is to stop trying so hard and just keep a positive energy.

  1. This is a whole new point of view about peace that I had never seen before. In a way I believe you are correct, many organizations promote peace in ways that don't seem right to certain groups of people and like you said "it's all just a big mess." Such organizations I believe should just be there to give food, housing and basic needs for those who lack of them. Having peace in terms such as being understanding, helpful, humble among other things have to be born within one's self.

  2. I completely agree with this, it has opened my eyes in the way I think about peace. There are many organizations out there that try to bring peace to this planet, then come in the other organizations that seek to be against this, resulting in chaos. We see this on the news all the time, take PETA for example, we see the good they attempt to to and then watch as another group will speak/ act out against them.

  3. Its funny because i think almost the exact way. Honestly i dont think there will ever be world peace. Its impossible to make every one happy all at the same time. there will always be people who are going to be bitter, jelious, envy, selfish and etc. Another factor that comes into play would have to be fear...

  4. I think that you and I have similar beliefs. I agree that the more organizations there are, the more chaos. I think that world peace at the moment is unrealistic. We need to start small and build a good foundation for peace. We can't expect to obtain world peace, especially when we can not even achieve peace in our own country.

  5. Its true that it pretty impossible to have peace throughout the world, while still making everyone happy at the same time. Sometimes organizations do preach about it and make it seem like it is very simple, when in fact it isn't. We can't try to have peace in the world if we can't even have it in our own countries.
